Trustee - Graeme Allan

Graeme Allan

Founding Trustee and Administrator

Whilst Graeme has never stepped onto a Judo mat in a traditional Judogi, his experience with the Judo community spans over two decades as a supportive Judo parent. Having married a former World Judo Champion, he's has consequently absorbed a wealth of knowledge (Loretta never stops talking about Judo) that has made him a useful asset to the Foundation.

I feel at home in the Corporate Market

A professional background encompassing 35 years in Senior positions within Financial Services for major PLCs, specialising in serving the Corporate Market, Graeme took on the responsibility of establishing the Foundation's SCIO Constitution and gaining OSCR Accreditation as a Charity.

Graeme guided the successful registration of the Foundation with regulatory bodies such as OSCR, Companies House, HMRC, and the appropriate National Governing Bodies in Sports.

Now in retirement, Graeme channels his energy into supporting the Foundation's mission.  On behalf of the Foundation and Trustees he undertakes diverse tasks, leveraging his financial knowledge and organizational skills to assist the Trustees in navigating and managing the Foundation's initiatives.

From negotiating and implementing projects to hands-on work like laying out Judo Mats, Graeme remains a dedicated force in the Foundation's travels to enrich the lives of the disadvantaged through the sport of Judo.
